Jesus washing feet. This is the Bible Story of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples before the Last Supper. Discover the events of the story from the Bible and what we can learn from this example of Jesus. John 13:2–17 recounts Jesus' performance of this action. In verses 13:14–17, Christ instructs His disciples: If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Jesus washing the feet of the disciples (John 13:1–17) occurred in the upper room during the Last Supper and has significance in three ways. Ephesians 6:10–12 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and a...

Instead of suppressing doubts, consider sharing them with trusted individuals, seeking guidance from scripture, and focusing on practices that nourish faith. Remember that faith is not always about feeling, and that even when doubts arise, there are ways to strengthen one's spiritual connection. Many people struggle with their faith at different times in their lives. Some of the most committed and godly leaders have struggled with doubts, just like everyone else. The very essence of faith is to believe in that which we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1). As physical beings, we tend to put faith in what we experience with our senses. Spiritual realities are not tangible and must be experienced outside our senses. So, when that which is tangible and visible seems overwhelming, doubts can shroud that which is invisible. The first aspect to consider is th...
